Love Island USAthe narrator of Ian Stirling found a way to joke show that lost several islanders after they had to be evicted from the villa.
The episode aired on Thursday, July 2 Melanie Moreno planned to sleep at Soul Ties — until she saw the famous owl in the villa. Melanie moved to another place for the night while the owl settled.
The next morning, Ian spoke about the absence of the owl. “The owl left the village for personal reasons,” he quipped.
The Island of love the franchise began in the UK in 2002 before expanding worldwide with various additional products including Love Island USA on Pavlinka. Each season, a different group of single islanders must team up to stay in the show’s luxury villa for a chance at a $100,000 prize.

Season 8 had its fair share of drama, both on and off set in Fiji. Earlier this season, Vasan Montgomery was booted from the show after social media posts resurfaced in which she swore.
Casa Amor is the bomb Alanna Keizer was also cut from the season after facing backlash for a repeated video that allegedly showed her using a racial slur. She broke her silence about the scandal on Saturday, June 27.
“Hi everyone, I’m coming here to discuss some things that are going around the internet. I want to start with a video of me singing a Roddy Rich song that contains racial slurs. I’m so sorry to anyone who saw this video and was offended by it. That was never my intention,” Alana said on TikTok. “The video is six years old and the word is no longer in my vocabulary.”
She continued: “I would also like to address the screenshots that have been circulating on the internet and have been faked. What has been shared does not reflect the truth and there has never been any discrimination based on skin color in my character. I want to be clear that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind and never have.”
Similar questions arose during Season 7, p Yulisa Escobar leaving several days last year after clips of her using racial slurs on a podcast went viral online.
Season 7 Sierra Ortega also faced backlash for using a profanity in her own revived post on social media. She was dragged out of the villa and later apologized for her past behavior.
