“I can’t say anything negative about Marcell Ozuna”

Marcel Ozuna’s ex-wife, Genesis Guzmanrecently broke her silence with a lengthy message to her fans on social media after the MLB star came under fire for allegedly dating a Venezuelan-born radio host. Paolo Faria.

Genesis has had a relationship with the MLB star for nearly two decades. They have three children together, two sons and a daughter. In the post, she talked about how Marcel was a good husband to her and a loving father to their children during the relationship. She said about the divorce:

“The decision to divorce was made by mutual consent. Simply put, there came a point when we realized that our relationship as a couple was no longer working and we decided to separate, keeping in mind the welfare of our children.’ – Genesis Guzmán originally wrote in Spanish.

“It was a difficult decision, but it was made with respect and maturity. Therefore, I ask you wholeheartedly to respect our decision. From a legal point of view, we are both free persons. Each of us took a different path and has the right to rebuild our life, be happy and share it with whoever we want.” – she added.

Genesis also went on to say that the marriage bond between the two no longer exists and asked fans to stop linking them to each other, assuming that they are still married.

She also said that they will always communicate because they have children together and there is no “feud” between them. She has nothing negative to say about the MLB hitter, and she thanked every fan who was a part of their journey.

“I can’t say anything negative about Marcell Ozuna. I wish him from the bottom of my heart a life full of peace, health, happiness and success in all that he undertakes, just as I hope he also wishes the best for me.” – she wrote.
