Several people were injured during the Berlin Pride parade, police said, after reports that a car plowed into a crowd in the city center.
An intensive manhunt is currently underway, police said, as they urged people to avoid the area.
The injured are being treated by emergency services near Tiergarten Park, where the incident took place, police added.
The annual Pride event, Christopher Street Day, has been cancelled.
“We believe a vehicle drove into Tiergarten Park and struck and injured several people,” police wrote on social media.
Pictures show a large number of emergency services at the scene, with one person seen entering an ambulance on a stretcher.
It is not yet known how many people were injured in the incident.
Several policemen and rescuers from the fire service have been dispatched to the area.
Earlier on Saturday, huge crowds took part in the city-wide parade, which ended near the park in the evening with a series of events.
