The Prime Video animated series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book of the same name has just wrapped the fourth season in April, making it the most-watched season to date, according to a press release. The series follows Mark Grayson (Steven Yoon), aka The Invincible, a teenager who gains superpowers that make him nearly indestructible as he battles earthly and extraterrestrial enemies, including his father Nolan (JK Simmons), aka Omni-Man.
Although Quaid’s character, the Gravitator, won’t be introduced until season five, we know from the comics that he’s a thief and talented engineer who turns his life around after a chance encounter with the Invincible. Annecy attendees were treated to an exclusive Gravitator video clip, but the rest of us will have to settle for just the image.

According to DeadlineKirkman said of the series: “One of the greatest rewards in creation Invincible over the years has seen new audiences continue to connect with these characters and this world nearly 25 years after its creation. This update is as much a testament to the passion of our fans as it is to the talented teams bringing the series to life, including longtime directors Sean O’Neill and Dan Duncan, who have done so much behind the scenes to make Invincible successful, and will now help us continue to grow as executive producers. There’s so much story left to tell, and I can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for seasons five, six and beyond.”
Invincible The premiere of the fifth season is scheduled for 2027.
