Fabrizio Romano’s show insider took to the social media platform X to deliver the latest on negotiations between the two London clubs:

The 26-year-old defender has enjoyed a stellar spell at Selhurst Park, gaining international recognition with France following his performances in domestic and European competitions.
New Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso believes Lacroix’s pace, physical dominance and composure on the ball are ideal for his tall tactical build.
Lacroix is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge and has already agreed personal terms. Now the clubs have to agree on the fee.
