Harlem Eubank’s next fight will feature innovative technology that displays power and speed in real time

DAZN’s upcoming Harlem Eubank vs. David Papot event will feature a selection of new technologies aimed at enhancing the viewing experience both inside and outside of London’s Copper Box Arena.

This combat sports-specific technology promises to provide fans with real-time performance information by measuring the power, speed, combinations and fatigue of both fighters when they square off on July 18.

Such data will be presented on Copper Box screens during their 12-round featherweight bouts, with DAZN viewers able to enjoy personalized AI feeds from the comfort of their homes.

Fans can also experience Matrix-style surround replays that allow you to view significant footage from any angle, providing a full 360-degree perspective of the action.

All of this should be powered by the Gladius, whose innovative digital gumshield technology is designed to detect the exact points of impact and the force of each blow.

In addition, the company aims to further enhance the overall fan experience with their AI audio system designed to deliver crystal clear kicking sounds throughout the Copper Box Arena.

In a press release, Gladius CEO Oliver Hickey said the technology will dramatically change the way we experience martial arts.

“This is the start of a new era in combat sports. Gladius creates a single, reliable source of truth by intelligently combining video, volumetric capture, audio and wearable sensors.

“On July 18, fans will see the power, speed and impact of every punch in real time, with Matrix-style volume replays and insights that turn raw action into compelling insight.

“We believe we are building the ultimate infrastructure for the future of sports.”

Regardless of the technology used, Eubank must remain focused on Popot coming out of a defeat on points to former world champion Liam Parr.

The event, which is a joint promotion between MF Pro and Neilson Boxing, will also see Kieran Molloy and Sean Noakes clash in another intriguing middleweight contest.
