Marcel Ozuna’s ex-wife, Genesis Guzman<\/a>recently broke her silence with a lengthy message to her fans on social media after the MLB star came under fire for allegedly dating a Venezuelan-born radio host. Paolo Faria<\/a>. <\/p>\n Genesis has had a relationship with the MLB star for nearly two decades. They have three children together, two sons and a daughter. In the post, she talked about how Marcel was a good husband to her and a loving father to their children during the relationship. She has nothing negative to say about the MLB hitter, and she thanked every fan who was a part of their journey.<\/p>\n \u201cI can’t say anything negative about Marcell Ozuna. I wish him from the bottom of my heart a life full of peace, health, happiness and success in all that he undertakes, just as I hope he also wishes the best for me.” – she wrote.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n In 2020, Genesis was arrested for allegedly throwing a soap dish at him Marcel Ozuna<\/a>which resulted in facial wounds. In 2021, Ozuna was arrested for aggravated assault, which put the MLB star on administrative leave. After responding to a 911 call, officers entered through an open door and witnessed a physical altercation between two people. Ozuna was taken into custody after the incident, and police said the victim had visible injuries but was not hospitalized. <\/p>\n Despite the legal issues, the couple stayed together and walked the red carpet at the 2024 All-Star Game together.
