A related civil forfeiture action has identified at least $400 million paid in by investors, and Delgado admitted to causing a minimum of $250 million in losses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">&#8220;Delgado provided fraudulent information to solicit investor funds and then spent his ill-gotten gains on his extravagant lifestyle,&#8221; U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border:0\" src=\"https:\/\/myriad.markets\/embed\/market\/btc-next-move-pump-to-84k-or-dump-to-55k-3d262902-135d-416e-90bc-8e80233f341e\" width=\"100%\" height=\"415px\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display:inline-block;width:0px;overflow:hidden;line-height:0\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">Delgado agreed to forfeit eight properties, 11 vehicles, 30 watches, more than 50 luxury bags and wallets, and at least 29 pieces of jewelry, along with seized bank and crypto accounts. He faces up to 20 years for each fraud count and 10 for money laundering, with sentencing set for October 8. The case was investigated by IRS Criminal Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">Delgado was <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/359211\/goliath-ventures-ceo-arrested-over-328m-crypto-ponzi-scheme\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">arrested in February<\/a> in a case initially pegged at $328 million, with investigators finding that only about $1.5 million of investor money ever reached a decentralized exchange, Uniswap.
