clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/episode\/2eGYR6fD6DNpHNRfsHuQRD?si=c0RpcbNnT0et6oBBiyu5qg&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Publicly traded <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/what-is-ethereum-quickly-explained-four-minute-guide\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Ethereum<\/a> treasury firm <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/322940\/meet-sharplink-microstrategy-ethereum\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Sharplink<\/a> added 10,000 ETH for around $16 million last week, marking its first acquisition since October. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">The firm now maintains holdings of 886,725 ETH worth $1.38 billion, as Ethereum changes hands around $1,562 on Tuesday. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">\u201cOur capital allocation philosophy is disciplined and straightforward: Every financing decision we make is based on our long-term objective to increase ETH per share,\u201d said Sharplink CEO Joseph Chalom in a statement. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Last week, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/b2icontent.irpass.cc\/2597\/rl167524.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">firm completed a $75 million registered direct offering<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight:400\">raising funds that Chalom said \u201cprovided the capital to support our active ETH treasury management strategy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border:0\" src=\"https:\/\/myriad.markets\/embed\/market\/ethereum-next-move-pump-to-3k-or-dump-to-1-5k-2165c555-6846-4387-84ab-9f11d08820b9\" width=\"100%\" height=\"415px\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display:inline-block;width:0px;overflow:hidden;line-height:0\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">In addition to adding to its Ethereum stack, the firm also bought back more than 2.1 million shares of SBET, which it believes is \u201csignificantly undervalued.\u201d Since creating its share buyback program last year, Sharplink has now bought back more than 4 million shares of SBET. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Despite the announcement, shares of SBET are down around 3% on Tuesday shortly after market open, trading around $4.76. At that mark, shares have now fallen nearly 22% in the last month of trading and are 88% off SBET\u2019s 52-week high of $40.46.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Sharplink\u2019s primary treasury asset has suffered, too, with Ethereum falling 22% in the last month of trading. It\u2019s now more than 68% off its August all-time high price of $4,946.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Nevertheless, Sharplink remains committed to ETH and its future.
