Premier League forward faces crucial week with Barcelona watching closely
According to SPORT, Barcelona may have just received a quiet boost in their pursuit of Marcus Rashford.
The Manchester United forward is entering a crucial week that could shape his immediate future, and signs are pointing toward an Old Trafford exit, possibly opening the door for a move to Camp Nou.
United are set to begin pre-season training on Tuesday, but manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly made it clear that Rashford is not part of his plans.
Despite being contracted until 2028, the England international appears to be on the fringes of the squad and could be pushed out, most likely on a loan deal.
Rashford is expected to undergo medical tests with the rest of the team but may not take part in full training.
Early indications suggest he could be training alone, a situation that no player wants to be in, especially one of his status.

What works in Barcelona’s favour is Rashford’s willingness to be patient. The player dreams of wearing the Blaugrana shirt and is reportedly open to waiting until the Catalan club are ready to make a move.
With Amorim unlikely to change his stance, and no place for Rashford in the new-look United squad, all signs point to a summer departure.
But should he decide to move quickly and accept another offer, the opportunity may vanish. For now, time is Barça’s best ally in the quiet chase for a player who could add real firepower to Hansi Flick’s frontline.
