Liverpool are working to sign PSG striker Bradley Barcola, but the deal is unlikely to be straightforward.
According to Fabrizio Romanothe deal is likely to take time and the two clubs will need to reach an agreement. PSG value the player at around €170 million, but Romano believes the deal could be done for less.
It’s no secret that Liverpool need more quality on the wing and the 23-year-old could be a game-changer for them. He is great at beating players in one-on-one situations and stretching the opposing defense. Liverpool need someone like him in attack and they need to do everything in their power to get the deal done.
Romano said: “Liverpool are working on a deal for Bradley Barcol, but don’t expect a breakthrough in the next few hours. It will take time for negotiations and discussions.
“Today I can confirm and explain: Barkola is very open and interested in Liverpool. He is attracted by this project. He believes that Liverpool will be an ideal option for his future.
“Barcola cannot control anything in terms of negotiations between the clubs and obviously PSG will want a significant fee. I don’t think it will be €170m; I think it will be less than that.
“Liverpool are in contact, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.”
Barkola needs regular playing time to develop and fulfill his potential. It would also be ideal for him to leave the French outfit. Liverpool will be able to provide him with regular opportunities in the Premier League.
He killed Last season scored 13 goals and made seven assists. Barcola’s numbers will likely improve if he plays regularly and with the offense. Liverpool could bring out the best in a player.
The Reds have lacked unpredictability going forward and the France international will also add a new dimension to their attacking unit. This move can be perfect for all parties.
