Dell Announces $250 Investment for Millions of Kids Through Trump Accounts

In the announcement for Independence Day, a tech billionaire Michael Dell and his wife Susan announced a “public-private partnership” that aims to give millions of young Americans a direct financial stake in the nation’s economy.

The CEO of Dell Technologies took to X on Saturday to announce that they are giving $250 each to the first 25 million eligible American children to sign up for “Trump accounts.”

“This makes every child a shareholder in the greatest engine of prosperity the world has ever known — American capitalism,” Dell wrote in the X message. “Through this public-private partnership, we’re giving the next generation a real stake in our economy and a path to the American dream: an education, a first home, starting a business and building lasting wealth.”

The announcement coincides with the official launch of Trump’s Fourth of July bills, provisions of the new tax law designed to help young Americans financial start.

Under the program, which was announced a year ago, every US citizen born between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2028 is eligible to receive a base investment of $1,000 upon enrollment.

Parents can enroll their children in the program when filing their tax return, acting as sole custodians of the account until the child turns 18.

Although no personal contributions are required, parents have the option of contributing up to $5,000 per year, which is then invested directly in US companies in stock market.

President Donald Trump According to forecasts, between 3 and 4 trillion dollars will go into the hands of young Americans in the next 15 years.

“Decades from now, I believe Trump’s bills will be remembered as one of the most transformative policy innovations of all time,” Trump said during the program announcement.

Dell, which previously pledged more than $6 billion to the program, said the initiative “brings us all together in hope and optimism for the future of every child.”

The Dells’ combined launch of a government initiative and private input has drawn widespread praise, and Sen. Ted Cruz, Texashailing Saturday’s effort as “an extraordinary birthday present to celebrate the greatest nation in the history of the world.”
