FIFA World Cup 2026: Spain win Group H, Cape Verde dream knocked out

Uruguay crashed out of the World Cup on Friday after a costly error from goalkeeper Fernando Muslera gave Spain a 1-0 win in Guadalajara, sending the European champions to the top of Group H. Cape Verde also advanced to the knockout stages after a 0-0 draw with Saudi Arabia, becoming the smallest nation to do so.
