Tom Clancy is no longer with us, but his sprawling series of military fiction novels centered around CIA analyst Jack Ryan and Special Forces operative John Clarke continues to be a goldmine for Hollywood adaptations. Hunting for Red October it’s the best submarine movie in 40 years, Patriot games was one of the best action movies of the 90s by Harrison Ford and the John Krasinski Amazon series, Jack Ryanis a smash hit. Long-time fans of Clancy are especially unaware that one of his best novels has yet to be adapted into a film. Almost 30 years have passed, and he is still gone Rainbow Six adaptation.
Rainbow Six is a hit waiting to be released
Earlier Rainbow Six became a hugely successful video game series, it was the 11th Tom Clancy novel, and in the Clancyverse it was as the avengers get together.
