Tonight on SmackDown, the reigning WWE Champion shared a major tease ahead of the grudge match. The star in question was crowned champion at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year.
Brie Bella and Paige won the Women’s Tag Team Championship at The Show of Shows by winning a Fatal 4-Way match. It was announced the promotion earlier today that the women’s tag team champions will face Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid tonight in a non-title match.

Bella took to Instagram tonight to mock their opponents and poked fun at Fatal Influence’s name. She also suggested that Henley and Reed are in for a world of punishment during tonight’s episode WWE SmackDown. You can check out the champion’s message in the Instagram post below.
“Fatal for whom exactly? 🤔 See you tonight 👑👑,” she wrote.
Nikki Bella was sidelined with an ankle injury and was forced to miss WrestleMania 42. Paige returned to The Grandest Stage of Them All and teamed with Brie Bella to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Paige left All Elite Wrestling in 2025 after spending several years in the promotion.

WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella recently explained why the Women’s Tag Team Champions were not present at the live event in Paris.
Speaking further The Nikki and Brie ShowBella shared that they didn’t show up to the event because they were canceled from the show. She apologized to fans who were hoping to see her and Paige at the event.
“It’s crazy to think that I was supposed to be in Paris today. And I’m so sorry because I saw some people going to the show thinking that Paige and I were there, but um, you know we got called off the show. They ended up not meeting us, and um, that didn’t bother me because I was so ready to go home. But it’s crazy to think that I’m going to be in Paris like I’m sleeping, you understand, right now, – she said.
It will be interesting to see if the Women’s Tag Team Champions can defeat Fatal Influence tonight on WWE SmackDown.
